You see people talking a lot about psychopaths but what are they really?
They are simply people who COMPLETELY lack any conscience. There is no good or evil in their eyes. There is no right or wrong.
Everything is just a power struggle between 2 or more parties. To a degree we humans are all psychopaths. If we see a lion eating a zebra alive and you justify this behavior you ARE A PSYCHOPATH but only to zebras. I can’t kill and eat a human baby, or even a pet dog, so why can a lion kill and eat a zebra? All three feel pain and suffering.
If you lack a conscience and have zero sense of a moral compass to all life on earth you are a psychopath. Everything in the world is fair game to them and everything is allowed.
Sociopaths have the same belief system, that there is no objective moral compass… but the difference is their emotions do not reflect this, they feel sad when a dog dies in a movie despite their acknowledgment that death is part of life and everything is allowed. They’re emotionally unstable for this reason as they are “dystonic” (conscious values do not line up with emotions, an example is an anti-gay person who ironically is attracted to men).
Psychopaths are mentally stable because they are “syntonic” not only do they hold their belief their belief system, their emotions reflect them. They don’t get sad at deaths, they don’t become enraged over injustice, etc.
Some are killers. Some are CEOs. Some are ordinary people.
Religion and Psychopathy cannot coexist because all religions teach love for others, so either you’re not religious or not a psycho. They can be psychopathic to a subgroup of people, like a certain race, but not to EVERYTHING.
Psychopaths enjoy intimacy, but don’t value commitment nor are they loyal. However many do provide benefit to their partners to keep them around so they aren’t horrible choices all the time.
They are sometimes dangerous because lack of morality is one less obstacle to overcome to commit a crime but the desire to avoid prison is usually enough to keep most from committing unnecessary crimes. However when they do commit crimes they’re more likely to be planned, less likely to leave evidence, more likely to deny if questioned by police, more likely to get away or receive lighter sentences. So psychopathic criminals are always more dangerous than the rest of the bunch for those reasons alone.
They feel fear but have a much easier time fighting through it because they don’t value life in the essence that it’s sacred but for the sole purpose of pursuing pleasure. As they continuously fight through fear and physical pain they become desensitized to it and it becomes easier to ignore it to the point their fear response is so weak it’s 1/5th as strong as a normie.
And, I believe, it is ALWAYS comorbid with narcissism because you can’t abandon morality when the world tells you to do so unless you think you’re smarter and better than everyone else and that you know bear despite what literally the world is bombarding you with. That or you’re high Machia enough to see the hypocrisy of the world and all it’s lies you realize empathy is a scam and a manipulation to acquire resources from others.
