Why can’t things get better, it hurts to feel scared of this all the time why can’t I just get better

Continue on. Though things may not seem great or preferred, one must continue life as they know it. Otherwise, who will do it for you?

There is no current way to shape things to your liking. It is best to simply continue and accept, rather than stop and neglect.
