I was in a concert and basically knew nothing about the band (had gone with my aunt and cousin) so just went up to girls that seemed pretty hot, smiled and asked "you sure seem like a fan...." Even that redpill subreddit had a lot of good insights about how sex/dating scene works. Their problem was excessive relying on the gym and unnatural alpha wannabe body language, since women can easily detect if you can back it up or are you larping.

There is actually some good PUA advice, but it's few and far between. One thing I won't forget is how Roosh always stressed the importance of closing. Don't try to sell yourself more than you have to when she's already interested, don't waste time - just set up the date quickly and close. Even little bits of wisdom like that can be invaluable, even today.
