[GUIDE] PUBERTYMAXXING PART 2
LATE BLOOMERS NEED TO READ THIS
I've seen way too many 13-16 year olds convince themselves they're cooked because their friend has a beard, deep voice and broad shoulders while they still look young. If this is you, read the whole thing.
NOT EVERYONE STARTS OR FINISHES PUBERTY AT THE SAME TIME.
Two guys can be the exact same age and look like they're 3 years apart.
That doesn't automatically mean one has better genetics.
One might simply be further along.
FIRST: WHAT EVEN IS A "LATE BLOOMER"?
Basically somebody whose pubertal development happens later than a lot of people around them. You've probably seen this yourself.
At 14 you have one dude who looks 18.
Then another dude looks 11.
Same classroom.

People develop at different rates.
And this is where younger guys make a huge mistake:
They compare AGE instead of DEVELOPMENT.
Being 15 doesn't mean every other 15-year-old is at the same biological stage as you.
PUBERTY ISN'T ONE EVENT
People talk about puberty like:Puberty starts ➜ 6 months later ➜ adult
No.

It's a process that happens over YEARS.
Things can happen at different times:
Height growth
Voice changes
Facial hair
Body hair
Muscle development
Facial maturation
Skin/oil changes
Shoulder/upper-body developmentOne thing can happen before another.
"BRO MY JAW IS SMALL"
And you're 14.This is exactly why you shouldn't judge your adult face yet.
Your lower face and the rest of your craniofacial skeleton are still developing during adolescence.
On top of that, your appearance is being affected by:
Facial fat
Muscle
Neck size
Body fat
Hair
Skin
Facial hair
So your face can look significantly more mature later without some insane movie-style transformation.
BABY FACE ≠ BAD GENETICS
This one gets people BAD.A younger-looking face during puberty doesn't automatically mean:
weak genetics
low testosterone
bad bone structure
you're going to look like that foreverSometimes...
YOU'RE JUST YOUNG.
Crazy concept apparently.

GENETICS ALSO AFFECT WHEN YOU DEVELOP
Genetics aren't just:"What's my jaw going to look like?"
They also influence things like your growth pattern and puberty timing.
Ask your dad when he started shaving.
Ask your parents when they had their major growth spurts.
Sometimes you'll find out your dad was the exact same way.
"EVERYONE IS TALLER THAN ME"
This is another reason younger guys start panicking. Some people hit their growth spurt earlier.
Others later.
So imagine:
GUY A
Growth spurt at 12-14Looks huge at 14
GUY B
Growth spurt happens laterLooks small at 14
Comparing them at ONE point in time doesn't tell you exactly what their final adult heights will be.
BONE AGE
This is actually interesting.Your chronological age and skeletal maturity aren't necessarily identical.
Doctors can estimate bone age using an X-ray, commonly of the hand/wrist.
So somebody might be 14 chronologically while their skeletal development is delayed relative to what's typical for that age.
But don't turn this into another obsession.
Bone age is a medical assessment, not a looksmaxxing stat you're supposed to farm.
MYTH VS REALITY
MYTH:
"I don't have facial hair at 15 so my testosterone is cooked."
REALITY:
Facial-hair development varies massively.Genetics, androgen sensitivity and puberty stage all matter.
MYTH:
"My friend is taller so he'll always be taller."
REALITY:
Not necessarily.Growth timing varies.
An early bloomer can temporarily tower over somebody who hasn't hit his main growth spurt yet.
Nobody on a forum can tell you your final height just by looking at you.
MYTH:
"I have a baby face so I need to cut hard."
REALITY:
You might literally just have a young face because...you're young.

Don't crash diet while you're still growing just because you want hollow cheeks.
MYTH:
"I need to increase my testosterone."
REALITY:
You have no idea whether your testosterone is low just because you look young. If there's a legitimate concern about delayed puberty, that's something a doctor can actually evaluate.
DON'T TURN "LATE BLOOMER" INTO AN EXCUSE EITHER
This goes both ways.Don't sit around thinking:
Nobody can promise you that.I'll magically become Chad at 21.
You still have genetics.
You still need to take care of yourself.
"Late bloomer" doesn't guarantee some insane transformation.
The point is:
YOU SHOULDN'T DECLARE YOUR FINAL RESULT WHILE THE PROCESS ISN'T FINISHED.
SO WHAT SHOULD A LATE BLOOMER ACTUALLY DO?
Pretty much the same stuff everyone should be doing.
1. STOP DESTROYING YOUR SLEEP
You're growing.Get your sleep.
You don't get bonus points for staying awake until 3 AM scrolling looksmax threads.
Teenagers generally need more sleep than adults.
Make sleep one of your priorities.
2. STOP STARVING YOURSELF
This is one of the dumbest things you can do because you want a sharper face.Your body needs:
Calories
Protein
Carbs
Fats
Vitamins
Minerals
to support normal growth and development.
If you're carrying excess weight, improve your diet and activity.
That's completely different from crash dieting.
3. START BUILDING YOUR BODY
You don't need to wait until you're "fully developed" to become athletic.Play sports.
Learn proper resistance training.
Do push-ups.
Do pull-ups.
Run.
Swim.
Whatever you enjoy.
Build a foundation.
