Yeah to some extent.

Actors like Cavill and Cilian Murphy didn't have a really lean face until they were in their early-mid 20s.

I definitely experienced that. My face is way leaner now than I was younger, even when at higher bodyfat. This happened especially when closing in at around 25 years +.
