Purge on 1st day of tret

Recently bought tret 0.05%. I did my research and thought purging happens after a couple weeks. WHEN I WOKE UP TODAY I LOOKED LIKE A FUCKING GOBLIN. I purged on my first fucking day on tret. Before niggas start saying it's a "normal breakout", my breakouts aren't THIS bad. I slept with only a moderate amount of acne, woke up looking like bacteria got forcefully injected into my face

Is this mostly for people with existing acne or everyone gets this?

I've seen some cases wear people don't get a purge, but that's generally just good hormones and genetics. Most ppl on tret/taz get a purge
