Why would they do that ?
To stop the war in Ukraine, give back Crimea, help Ukraine in being rebuilt, and sanctions getting lifted from Russia
Most people support the war in russia and they are winning and the new leader would need to prove himself so he will probaly be worse then putin
He doesn't need to prove himself jfl, he will just apologize to the west
The west will see russia as weak if that happens
They have no choice, war in Ukraine is in a stalemate
They will win the war and eventually the sanctions will stop when its start to hurt the European economy way to much
Win how, they can't take even a suburb in Kiev currently and Mariupol is still being attack

He's too firmly entrenched to be removed just like that, he purged all his opponents, he regularly rotates his personnel and officials so they won't acquire too much power and influence in one place, he most likely spies on them as well and probably tests them occasionally by sending fake agents who pretend are from CIA or other foreign services to see if they would betray him, etc... - all this stuff was done regularly by all Russian leaders since the Soviet era.
