So I'm debating whether to get an Aesthetic Evaluation Report by QOVES Studio, for those who don't know basically it's a service by researchers, medical professionals and orthodontists, along with AI, that provides in-depth criticism on your face and your level of attractiveness.

The QOVES team apparently provides their services as well as clinicians and plastic surgeons (at least in the words of the CTO), I'm interested in the analysis because I love their social media content and I agree with their approach. We all know most of the opinions on aesthetics in basically 99% of looksmaxxing spaces are opinion-based rather than researched based, I don't care what people think is attractive, I care what the most conclusive scientific research has shown to be attractive, and that's sort of what QOVES offers.

Here's a video of them explaining briefly what it is, apparently they also provide advice on both non-surgical and non-surgical approaches to improving your looks in a 23-page analysis of your face, it goes over symmetry, dimorphism, proportions, averageness by ethnicity, dentofacial development, etc.

The only drawback, of course, is price, I believe they have 3 analysis on different prices, one is 100 dollars, another is 150, and the most expensive one is 250-300 dollars. I've been saving for my ascension, have about 10k, could've saved more, but certain life events fucked me up in that department. If I were to get the analysis, I would of course also consult with plastic surgeons and such on what the next steps would be based on the input of the analysis, basically using it as a blueprint on top of proper medical assessment.

Do you believe it's worth it? I've heard great comments about it, neutral comments about it, some saying it's a scam, others saying it's not a scam but that it is overpriced, etc.

That's what I'm debating, while I can get something similar for free will it truly be comparable to having a whole team of professionals, cross-referencing over 40 studies and comparing the "ideal" metrics for facial attraction to your face and seeing how that's applicable to you?

I just feel like most of the advice here is based on what people think works rather than what has actually been observed to work
If you are resourceful and smart and know who to trust/listen you can get the same info independently. But actually, I can see how it might be worth it, not because their conclusions are more airtight and should be followed to the letter but because having someone with at least a veneer of professionalism give you some good...
No you can get it for free in dms from select users here and the info is more actionable

Can you elaborate on this? Any specific channel or website? Have heard the name but never actually stopped to ask myself who he or they are

Lookup @giant.implants on Instagram
DM him and ask how much does a rating from you cost?
He is a professional who designs implants and plans surgeries. I dont think anyone has better knowledge than him and his expertise.

But actually, I can see how it might be worth it, not because their conclusions are more airtight and should be followed to the letter but because having someone with at least a veneer of professionalism give you some good starting points can make you feel more self-assured in going about your own research. I say their conclusions are not so airtight because I don't agree with the idea of "ideal metrics for facial attraction." Instead of trying to attain an ideal you should try to maximize what you have. QOVES by nature focuses on the former. Sure they do the latter accidentally too but epistemologically they are condemned to be committed to the former. They also rule out all the contextual factors escaping scientific logic that are still so determinative of attraction. e.g. to use cringe psl lingo they won't tell you to try to be a prettyboy instead of amnesia even if that is better for you given your base, which would entail a totally different, uhm, looksmaxxing, plan.

TLDR yes it might be worth spending $150 just to not feel like plastic surgery research has to be a kind of forbidden dark net scary exploration.

That's actually a very intelligent response. I might honestly end up settling for the 100 to 150 analysis, 250 or more is bit of a stretch for me. I don't believe in getting all of your knowledge from a single source, so I may also end up doing what you suggested as well, just to see what information differs or is similar.

Thanks a lot

Yeah I guess I also hadn't considered FaceIQ ratings, maybe they're good enough, didn't he mentioned he used to work for Qoves too? Maybe I'm misremembering tho

Well yeah that's part of their marketing strategy, truly they offer advice and research-based answers for both sexes, but in the words of Shafee (the CTO) it's often smarter for a company to advertise and brand themselves in a way that caters towards women, because it is much harder to make women buy something than it is to make men buy something.

Men generally don't care about presentation or aesthetics, just that the product works. And while women tend to buy more on average, they're much more sensitive to good or bad product advertisement. "If you appeal to men, then you're not going to sell to women. But if you appeal to women, you're gonna sell to them and men"

I bought an analysis before but I accidentally deleted it. I bought a morph analysis and they told me I needed a rhinoplasty and jaw implants but maybe filters could suffice. I am thinking about getting the 150 dollar analysis just to have the more recently updated version.

Bro 10k would buy you a 8k rhinoplasty in Turkey and the rest on the plane ticket

I'm still thinking about getting it, postponed it for next month till I make up my mind. If I haven't had an alternative I trust more then I'm 100% going with Qoves, I believe Qoves 2.0 actually is out rn, last time I checked the page it said something similar. I suppose I'm still in waitlist because I haven't received any emails.

Yeah, I've been checking out the channel of the Qoves CTO, Shafee Hassan, very cool and knowledgeable guy, he mostly teaches about tech entrepreneurship and business, by proxy you have some sneak peeks on what the new Qoves looks like, and it honestly seems very cool and advanced stuff. So far it seems like the most advanced facial analysis stuff out there.

I know, it's probably enough for the genioplasty which is the surgery that will give me the most ROI as far as I'm aware. I'll keep saving, but I kinda want an "end goal" or at least a list of procedures so I can really make a budget and create a plan to afford the procedures. I'm not looking to go full hardmaxxing route yet without a proper plan

oh I clicked the second link on Google and it brought me to the actual site. The first link brought me to the waitlist. What's the waitlist for? It's 150 for a premium membership and they offer looksmaxxing advice without surgery.

Well I kinda assume the waitlist was kinda, they would e-mail you and tell you "Hey, come buy our stuff, we're accepting you!" but now I'm kinda unsure, I'll probably e-mail them about it or something.

The only bad thing about Qoves is that they don't give surgical advice, but they're still going to be analyzing your whole face as far as I'm aware so it's kinda a "This is wrong about it you, maybe fix it, but we don't have anything to do it with it"

Yeah I don't know how far they can looksmax me without surgery. But I bit the bullet and bought the membership so I guess i'll see my ratings and softmax limits within 14 days.
