roping can’t exist because from our own subjective perspective, we cannot die

imagine you’re proposed with a life-threatening event, such as a car crash. There’s a timeline where you’ll die, and a timeline where you’ll survive.

you’ll ALWAYS experience the timeline where you survive, because your brain cannot look at a blank screen; your mind requires a living brain to experience anything at all

since your consciousness cannot exist in the timeline where you die, your personal experience will always continue in the timeline where you survive the car crash.

to you, everyone else could die. to you, you’re always there.

maybe you’re crippling of old age. maybe you’re sitting in a wheelchair, unable to move your limbs because you attempted to rope

maybe we never truly die. instead, our bodies cripple into dust

but our minds? our minds never truly disappear
