Question about Azelaic Acid

So ive been using azelaic acid 10% for 2ish months and I also started tret 0,05% a month ago, I do a lot of sunmaxxing but my face is always pale as fuck, Im pretty sure the azelaic acid is causing this, should i stop using it completely?

Actually I dont do much sunmax anymore since starting tret, I use SPF 50 every time i go outside tho
