I’m 16 and I’m not sure if I should really do a DIY chin filler because of how my body is still developing.
The thing is, at 16, your tissues and soft tissue structures are still changing—for example, the thickness of my soft tissue will increase by about 1 mm in a year.
Also, at 16, the tissue still “forms” the bone and sharpens the contour, and since I’m injecting the hyaluronic acid almost directly onto the bone, I’m not sure if this acid could cause any issues.
Also, my chin will probably grow another 4–7% by the time I’m 18, which means the mentalis muscle will have to adapt to the chin’s new size, and I just don’t want to do anything now that I’ll regret later.
Should I just go ahead with it or wait a little longer?
