In an cut do you stay on the same calorie deficit throughout the cut or do you reduce the intake of calories the closer you reach your goal weight

Same deficit all around

But you could get lower and lower if the jump from eating alot to eating minimally is too difficult
 
Weight loss won’t plateau by keeping the same deficit through out the cut

Its easier to increase the activity (step count mainly) if you dont wanna feel like crap. Just reducing the calories again and again ends up wih you in a crash diet situation and will leave you feeling terrible and make it way harder to stick to. Atleast if you are keeping your matabolic rate higher you can get some food in and feel a little satiated.

you will still lose weight if you replace those calories burned during activity ?
