Question about eyelash curlers

I have really long eyelashes but rn they failo me because they curl downwards instead of up, but they will be an insane halo if I curl them upwards

What kind of eyelash curler should I get? A normal one or a half lash curler? I heard some people get the half lash one because it looks less “gay” when curled but is it possible to just use the normal one and just not apply too much curl somehow?

Going to order one later today

Am also wondering how long the curl lasts l, will probably get a good reviewed one from Amazon so they don’t damage my lashes and work well

If you heat it with a hairdryer before hand then the lashes will retain their shape.

Thanks for the link but won’t using heat damage them a ton lol

Plus the fact my eyelashes go downwards so more curl probably means more damage but I’m only planning to curl them a subtle amount and will use castor oil to hydrate them ig

Just trying to get some opinions as I want to to be subtle and not damage my lashes
