Both my parents are an inch taller than both of your parents. I’m also 5’9 at 17 and haven’t grown much recently. Still yet to find a single person who has been shafted more by their genetic height than me on the internet but damn you come close. As a general rule of thumb if you’ve grown at least half an inch in the last 6 months you’re probably gonna keep growing. It tapers off a lot more than that when you reach the end
to sum it up it just basically means u could get certain genes that make u ugly even with attractive parents or with unattractive parents get genes that make u good looking. Just look at barretts parents for an example of genetic recombination.

A few days ago i measured myself. And i was 176 cm (5'9 1/2). So maybe a have a good Chance. But all relatives on my moms side about 5'9-5'10 (178). But i was always the little guy and when i tell my friends about my fathers height they think im liar. And unfortunately I live in nothern germany and its a place in europe where the tallest (average height) people live. and all about are 6' -6'1. What about you.? The height pill get me crazy.
