If I only get it to shorten my upper jaw and I don't ask for any forward advancements will it still make my nose wider?

You can get forward advancement without making your nose wider if your surgeon uses an alar cinch.

well my face is on the flatter side but it just doesn't really bothers me, all I care about rn is getting a shorter face
