I’m 5’7” and decent looking so LL would be a great ROI but I was wondering what guidelines do they use to know where to break bone and isn’t the result going to be
weird, (isn’t the natural ratio in tall people different since the torso is also bigger)

getting femur lenghtened will make ur arms look shorter. getting ur tibia lenghtened wont have the same effect on it. but it will probably look a bit disproportionate

take of pic of you with a scale in background, then use photoshop to lengthen yourself see how you look, and look if you're arm look off. 4-5 inches, you don't need arm lengthening, from what I'm aware, unless you had short arms to begin with. Taller people also tend to have longer clavicles, so you can consider clavicle lengthening.

And how does the muscles (quads or calves) adapt?

It will look lengthened obviously
It won't look dipropionate as long as you don't overlengthen (below 6 inches)

your muscle growing potential will also be bigger since you have more space to build on
you'll need to eat more calories to maintain as well

Aren’t those muscles going to be permanently stretching then

no they will be stretched when it's lengthening, afterwards it won't stretch any further, if you do this surgery, you will feel extreme pain randomly, because your body is getting used to it, recovery will be brutal, some people describe it as worse than birthing a child, and before you ask me, yes some females have gotten LL to gain height, you don't want to lengthen over 6 inches ever, since your nerves will have an extremely hard time catching up, this will be disastrous
