Question about redlight therapy

I ordered a redlight device from asia, and now tried it first time. The device has 2 buttons, one is near infrared and other redlight. When i press near infrared, i cant see any light. Only when i press redlight a light is visible.
Is it normal that i cant see the near i. light? Is this the right one for anti aging?

iirc visible length red light is the one for anti-aging and infrared helps with wound healing/bone repair
