Question about tazarotene

Yo so I was using adapalene for around 3 months and it works but js not enough, rn i switched to boderm tazarene 0.1% and ive been on it everyday for a week, no sandwich method. I am starting to question if I got a fake batch or idk bcz i got no peeling, no redness etc. (ikr i should be happy) im js questioning if its working and im not wasting my time
