If someone works out for 5+ years and is not making results, what are the issues? For me personally, I do not have an issue gaining weight I can get to 30%+ body fat pretty easily (my brother for example at 6'1 stays 130 pounds and it's an uphill battle for him to add weight on)

I really don't understand.

My bench capped out at 155~ and cannot even pull myself up. I don't get it. If I workout and get sore, why am I so weak after years of trying

Search strength programs (add a few accessories movements) and don't fall for the bulking meme, no reason to get to 30% bf.

Wrong, it only matters at the very top, he should've gotten way better results in that timespan, he just didn't train/eat properly.

What are your macros? What are your micro nutrient quantities? Are you getting good sleep? What supplements do you cycle? Do you lift to failure or within 3 reps of failure? If you do lift to failure, how many days rest are between? Are you aware that lifting to failure produces less muscle mass than lifting within 3 reps from failure but lifting more often?

How much research have you done on weight lifting? What's your routine? Are you aware you need to cycle off of your preworkout for around 2 months, frequently because your body will become aclimate to it? What preworkout are you using? How good is your sleep? Do you go to bed and wake up at the same time everyday? Do you get at least 20 minutes sunlight everyday, or at least supplement with D3?

What have you experimented with to gain muscle? Which supplements have you still not tried? Do you regularly read studies and literature on muscle building?

Idk man I just can't relate

155 bench cap after 5 years of training in earnest is pathetic bro. Nothing besides sarms or more is gonna lead to a change.

I'm natty lifter too trust me, sleep, macros, and protein etc. is not gonna do it even if you optimize them, especially if you're training to soreness.

You must be doing the bare minimum lifting 5 pounds and running on treadmills

You are definitely doing something wrong jfl. Bodybuilding is quite complex from all the videos I have seen (moreplatesmoredates ect). lifting and going in cycles isn't quite my cup of tea unfortunately. I prefer to be skinny tbh

Bro

5 years

Ask around I used to have a relatively sick bod and kinda going back to it now

Send me pictures or I can't understand what you mean

You lift weights and you aren't growing muscle? How is that possible

Age?

How much do you weigh

What foods do you eat

Have you checked your testosterone

How much do you sleep

What about your other lifts

I don't know what the fuck I'm doing wrong. my bench for example wouldn't go up. so I'm unsure if low protein is enough to stop you from building strength

My genetics aint too great either bro. 2 years gymcelling and bench has stalled at 155 for reps for nearly a year. PM me if u want maybe we can talk about it

gaining weight not my issue either, hit 30% bodyfat after my first long ass bulk

you actually have some decent size for a 155 pound bench.

Eat meat and stop coping with vegetables or lentils for protein. You won't get any real protein out of it anyways.
