question abt bone mass studies involving androgens

when they say it increased their bone mass density id assume the only reason the bone didnt thicken is because the studies im looking at are for adults who have bones who are already ossified meaning it can only get denser.

meaning more bone density = more bone thickness if taken in puberty aka more male dimorphism when from an androgen.

thickness means or width of smth meaning more posterior bone growth

my theory is these compounds would react differently if ur in puberty than if ur a fully grown man like most of the people in these studys, and its due to them being past puberty that they could only increase bone density but not the thickness
