What are Asian households like is it like how people think it is do you actually get disowned if you get less than an A or is that just a racist stereotype

It's mostly a stereotype. They don't expect perfection but they expect you to try your best. My parents were academically strict when I was young but they don't bother me as an adult. I was taught basic stuff at an early age so was ahead of most American students. In china especially Kazakh parents generally do not interfere much with their kids. Ik many kazakhs who live on their own in xinjang which is relatively rare compared to han and uigurs.

What is true is that asian high schools are really tough. I'm glad I didn't have to do high school in china. If you get stuck in a shitty high school its full of gangs just like the animes. Asian college is a lot better than American college though. People are a lot more social, teachers legit want you to succeed and the environment is a lot more fun and conducive to learning.
