If I were to do squats and deadlifts (And I will because I like them as an easily overloadable compound that fatigues the most muscles below my chest), and my main priority were to strengthen my low back and increase core strength should i wear a belt or not wear a belt

I don't need a belt because I wear leggings.

dont wear a belt if you want to work your core.

Wearing a belt reduces fatigue so it makes it easier to complete your workout

I doubt it really matters in terms of lower back/core strength It's not like you're going to have a weak lower back if you can deadlift 600lbs with a belt. If it reduces the rick of injury then in the long run it probably helps lower back strength by keeping you in the game. That said, I don't wear a belt.

squats and deadlifts are for retards, don't do them

DL risk to reward ratio isnt there, I don't squat cause I skip legs

Wear one if going heavy. You can get a hernia without them on those lifts.

Wouldn't they increase the risk of hernia of parts not covered by the belt since they increase intraabdominal pressure, like inguinal hernia for instance?

No - those belts give some protection on squats and deadlifts when going heavy.

If you’re squatting and deadlift wear a belt, easy to fatigue lower back if you do it on the same day
