Question for high IQ and high NT guys

Why do people post many Instagram stories? Is it because they want to see if the guy/girl they like looked at their story? Maybe they get a dopamine rush everytime they see their crush watched their story? especially if they watch them just some minutes after she/he posts it

I don't get why....I mean I only post stories to see if the girl I like watched it and gauge her interest....I scroll through the list of who watched it until I see her name, but I don't know if other people do the same.

Gives more invites for you to interact with them, like people message through a story where as if you didn’t put anything up about your life it’s a lot harder to just randomly message someone, than make a comment based on your story
