Question for Scandinavians

How mutually intelligible are the Scandinavian languages? Are Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Bokmal dialects of the same language and can you understand each other?

They’re not same language, but same language family. You can largely understand them, sometimes it can be difficult, but mostly we can understand each other. I find Danish harder to understand than Swedish unless they talk slowly, and some words can be different, but mostly we understand

norwegian bokmål is basically danish. Danish have some old school writing like af=av hvad=hva

Yes it's easier to read
Danish and Norwegian are very similar in writing afaik but verbally Swedish and Norwegian are more intelligible for each other. however it's easier for Norwegians to comprehend Danish than for Swedes cause their writing is more similar to eachother
