Yes I do believe in love. But not because I’ve felt it the way I wanted to, but because you can’t deny it’s out there. You see how it changes people, how it gives them this strange sense of purpose, like waking up next to someone you care of, or even being around them, something magical I wish I could re expirience time and time again. it’s something heavier, almost cruel in the way it chooses who gets to experience it fully and who doesn’t. Tbh i thinkk

For some people, love is a gift handed to them without effort. For others, it’s like chasing something that always slips further away the closer you get. But just because I’m standing on the outside while everyone else is inside doesn’t mean I’ll say it doesn’t exist. Love is real to me or it was. It’s just not real for everyone.

Ive actually thought about this alot. And I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter whether it's just a social construct or chemicals in the brain. But love for sure is real. You can't say it's only oxytocin and dopamine. Love is also actively making choices, making sacrifices for the people you love. Love is also an activity. It doesn't just happen in the back of your mind, that's attraction. Love is sticking with the person as you grow old and saggy, as she becomes less attractive to the eyes of the society. Love is as simple as finding joy in sharing the same straw to drink.
