Question on mse

My ortho said my lower and upper teeth are relatively equal although my upper palate is a bit a more narrow but barely noticeable. Because of this, he assigned me braces with elastics even though I genuinely have issues whilst breathing through my nose and have a narrow palate. On top of that I have mild crowding but still no mse or expander. What should I do?
