[QUESTION] Open bite and Jaw surgery

How does jaw surgery corrects Open bite? I read an article saying jaw surgery corrects it but idk how it's possible , if you make the posterior teeth fit then front teeth won't

just by pushing the maxilla slightly downwards I assume

ok thx also my surgeon asked me mold of my teeth , what is the use of the mold

Those are the molds, they are bad cuz i was wearing braces he put something so braces don't get fucked

Do you think this bite allow surgery?
