So I decided to get a mod cut this weekend after growing my hair out for 3 months bc my current haircut looks extremely overgrown
But I was wondering, what products do I need to maintain it? And should I change my wash routine (currently, I do shampoo and conditioner 3x a week)? I don't want to go to sleep the same day and then wake up and not know how to style it and look like a bum.
If I need to know anything else pls tell me
( I have low porosity, fine hair if needed )

I personally shampoo 2x a week and don't condition (with ass products) because this is what my hair feels best on (shampoo day is still ass tho). Experiment and find the minimal amount of times you can shampoo before it gets greasy.
I'm pretty sure a clay and salt spray is good for a mod cut, but this is a good question for google.

My hair never goes greasy for some reason so shall I just keep washing it like I do now?

I recommend a leave-in for all hair types, specifically the Camile Rose Moisture Milk. It gives your hair a super defined, non-frizzy look that's quite desirabl. Style the hair while it's still damp (with the leave-in applied), then once dried, it should stay. But if your hair is too heavy, you can use a tiny amount of any brand of pomade (which will make your hair slightly frizzy).

wash it then track how many days till it gets greasy, lets say 4 days, so wash it the morning of the 4th day or night of 3rd

Shampoo once a week, conditioner every shower, leave in conditioner for the day
