most of them are christian because of environment and it's cope if you disagree with this because you'd likely be muslim in Saudi Arabia for example.
Others are because they had hard time in their lives and they didn't know how to cope anymore because their problems could only be solved by being in higher state than they are currently so they chose to follow stories that are vouching for exactly that.

I feel a strong feeling that both your parents weren't extremely devot chrisitans. Not "religious" Christians, but the type of Christians that havent lost their spiritual essence.

After all, the offspring leaving the faith is nothing more of the sins of the parents lol.

Genuinely pls answer tho, are they devot or "i go to church every Sunday but smoke and gossip on the weekdays" kinda Christians

Father is lukewarm, mother is devoted I'd say, she's praying every day but I can think for my own and came to conclusion that religion is the best cope but at the end of the day it is cope.

Can you explain more about her?

Exlude prayer and reading the Bible because I dont associate that with elevation in connection with God.

You know her best so growing up what kind of women was she. Was she God fearing, right doing no matter how bad a person has done her? Was she the type to do revenge or go back to her home snd leave it to God. Explain more and just be honest bro because this stuff always goes back to the parents. Its a inheritance system.

At the end of the day, it sounds brutal (and it is tbh) but we aren't the ones to pick God, he picks us.

The longer you keep your semen the firmer your faith becomes.

Stay righteous and holy no matter what circumstance. The longer you stay righteous the stronger tbe holy spirit functions in you.

That feeling of guilt within you isnt your consciousness, it is the holyspirit. That is what guides you to do right from wrong.

So again, semen retention and righteousness, but, praying for discernment and guidance is extremely good.
