Well, if I don't get rid of the hair after it's 2 inches or so, then it will just chafe my skin. So I have to do it, plus the fact I like the smooth look way better.

Mine is because of the hairs that have chafed the skin and not because of shaving. I use a depilatory cream to get rid of my hairs down there. Way easier and zero cuts.
It grows to around 2 inches and then when I fap it keeps rubbing against the skin which eventually causes it to get chafed due to constant rubbing / friction.
