No. I spent 9 months of that year in the Air Force. It was memorable. A good experience even. But I don't miss it. I lost my virginity that year come to think of it, lol.

Different times.

1. didn't have smartphones back than
2. online/digital dating, was seen as GIGA loser move (how perception has changed)
3. PUA bullshit was at it rise, PUA dating coaches where making up stories about their skills and so on. Advertising happened through emailing-lists stories, forums, and websites, and so on.

I dunno I miss it.
Some things were better, some things were worse as now.

2007. people oblivious about the next year happening. the bankruptcy of banks, was quit a big thing back than in 2008.
But didn't notice in real economy yet, much from it.
The economic hit, can thereafter from 2009-2014 orso; absolute shit economic years.
