Question to those who went through decomp

Right before the jaw surgery, did ur face look a lot more worse than before the braces period, or was the change not that noticeable? I've noticed that some people look fucked up after their decomp phase, and some people look completely fine.

My upper incisors are tilted 121 degrees

I got my braces a month ago, the ortho said that my teeth have already moved noticeably.

So the shitty news is that sooner or later I can't leave my house no more.

But even in class III cases, I've seen people that don't look too bad and then some motherfuckers have an open bite with a non-existent upper lip.
