I have an overbite, and have been recommended a bimax by some people in real life as well as a few people on this site, I've also been told to just get braces but I don't know if it will fix it, but I also don't know if I should get a bimax.

I've also heard the procedures for the bimax can get quite tedious, no idea if it's true tho. I also don't know what I have to say to my doctor to get approved for it, I would prefer it to be covered since it's quite an expensive surgery.

If you main issue is overbite you can get a bsso or a genioplasty

Well it's my jaw I mostly want fixed but I don't know if a bimax is the correct choice, it seems like a massive step to take especially since it seems I'll have to be on a liquid diet for a few months. Would a genioplasty be better?

Its tedious
Yeah I've looked online and it's frightening to say the least, no idea if I should go with it or just stick with a genioplasty as the other guy said.

of course it's tedious, the most tedious part is finding the right surgeon

who cares if its tedious. this just means you dont want it enough.
