I’ve heard sugarmaxxers like Kent say that sugar is glycemically the same as rice. So 500g of rice = 500g of sugar, even if this is true why eat the shit ton of sugar? Why not just eat the rice if it carries the same benefit? What’s the point of eating pure white sugar?

Also to what extent should I do sugarmaxxing, 100g of added sugar a day? 30g? 200g? I don’t know

Also since sugarmaxxing spikes igf1 levels and can give you hyperinsulinemia which leads to greater free flowing igf1 levels in your body so it helps grow your bones n shi and in height can’t sugarmaxxing like this also give you type 2 diabetes? Why would you get one or not the other? Or would you get none at all?

Rice is a complex carbohydrate (mostly starches with very little sugar), whereas table sugar is a simple carbohydrate. Eating 500g of rice is completely different from eating 500g of pure sugar.

Sugar holds more glucose than rice

And rice is only like 28% carbohydrates per 1g of weight, while sugar is 100%

So which is better complex carbs or simple carbs?

No one is better than the other, complex carbs simply take more time to digest, thus keeping your blood sugar moderately high, and simple sugar take less time to digest, thus spiking your blood.

Your body does not consider anything, it only knows glucose, fructose, and galactose
