Want this as short as possible to not waste any of your time.

I'm 17 and about to become a crane conductor on a offshore oil rig. Salary is quite high (120k after taxes) and it'll probably get higher as time goes.

I'll be saving the money I make yearly for a good 10 to 12 years and purchase a home without a loan.

My question here is, with a million dollars or more to my name do opportunities for passive income open up.
The goal really is to be able to maintain my house, vehicle, and maybe family without having to work.
I've thought of real-estate but scaling unit size seems very time taxing so what else can I look at.

Bonus pics of the goal house and vehicle im aiming for;

most people are able to turn 1 million into a retirement. People in the investing world will have said get your first 100,000 and then you can start having passive income.

Crane conductor at oil rig at 17? Damn.

If you invest properly and don't touch the money at all, you'll eventually be able to live just off of returns from the market. Real estate, despite being "time taxing", is literally one of the best passive income methods because of the rent and the assets you end up owning after several years. Start with stocks like every other investor ever.

I've kind of gave up on getting rich quick but im really wondering if 30-32 years old is a bad age to be rich.

Goal was to get rich by the time I was 20 and splurge but thats clearly unrealistic.

Do women even like older aged men (completely moneymaxxed and considerably tall/6'6)

Rental properties are probably the best option. Just wanted to see what else was on the table jfl

if you're 6'6 there's nothing to worry about. even if you're slightly below average facially.

dont worry, being rich at 30 is more than enough. atleast you'll actually like your life and it'll mean something to you, unlike influencers and most people that strive for fast and easy money.

Yes I suppose so. Thanks.

onee last question though.
When 30 what is the max age limit you can safely go for without being labeled as a predator.

real estate will be the best option if u want to live with no job

Real estate can be a job but far easier than being on a rig

That’s by no means the get rich quick it’s basic investing. My father was able to invest his earnings every month until he was able to retire at the age of 53. He’s also probably going to get a divorce and I asked if he’s gonna be alright. And he goes I make more now than I did before and I also reinvest while making more.

Seems like everyone here thinks so too.
Real estate is the end goal then. Cheers
