Whores will usually build a portfolio of regulars and eventually end up only fucking a couple dozen 5+/10's and rotate through them. I.e. you will get ghosted by a whore eventually if you are sub 5.

How many men who visit prostitutes regularly are over 5? If you are a prostitute your goal is to get your client to spend as many money as you can on you. An ugly man is more likely to do that because he is less likely to find girls outside of that, plus most men who have money are older, and you want the ugly men with lot of money as your customers.
