Quick Skincare Advice Plz

I've been on tret, antibiotics, prescription topicals and all sorts of shit for like over 2 years and it hasn't done shit for me. It's too late to hop on isotret since school is starting in like a week, should I just throw everything away and use only water?

(I used to have almost completely clear skin in comparison to what it looks like right now, so if anything it's only gotten worse after I started doing skincare lmao)

How long were you on them

Id say go for isotret if nothings been working it will nuke your oil glands forever if you cross the maintainence dose
You will purge hard for first 2-3 months but it's worth every bit for the final skin it gives your skin will look different from most as there are no pores and acne

Otherwise I would say for tret and use azelaic acid with it give it consistent 3-4 months and check on your diet too don't eat carb heavy that spikes insulin and causes acne

I was on tret for several months before switching to an antibiotic form of tret for the last two months, neither helped. I was also on azelaic acid but I've been using it less frequently to lighten the load on my skin barrier.

It takes usually 4 months to work and even by then you wont have clear skin i had accutane for 5,5 months before getting clearer skin
