If he's doing good and stays healthy then good for him, he took some risks and it worked out. He'll pretty much be considered tall everywhere now.
There's a difference between being 6'0 and 6'3 for sure, but for most people, the risks of the procedure outweigh the rewards, especially at 6'0.

I live in a tall area and get mogged everytime im in a supermarket cause there’s always atleast a couple 6’5+ dudes (at my work place it’s ultimately worse) and it’s a surgery ive done a lot of research on since i was 15. And im 6’1 now and recently turned 17. I am fully aware of the risks and am responsible for anything that would go wrong
