Jesus fucking christ I wrote that shit so long ago now some dumbass yt philsopher is talking about it.

I will say though while she has an initial point, she makes the makes it mutually exclusive, that a species can't have an ornament and it be sexually selected for as well.
The example of the Gorilla she gets wrong. They are both used to fend of other males and female gorillas prefer it this is a studied phenomena.
