Humans are tribal . Pure blooded whites would have obviously preferred their pinkish undertone in that day and time. What I've seen is that light with reddish undertone seems to outperform every other race.


Pale works and so does tan but it's ultimately the undertones. If you're pale you need reddish undertone for the healthy balance. Same for being tanned.
