The theory goes as follows: Africans live in tropical environments, which presents a higher disease risk than in other parts of the world. Africans needed to develop stronger immune systems to live in said tropical environments, as a result the genes selected for that increase immune strength have a trade off against affecting bodily development such as the brain and therefore intelligence.
Black people have a higher rate of schizophrenia compared to other races. One of the leading theories of leading theories of schizophrenia is that it is caused by excessive pruning of brain cells. The Human Leukocyte Antigen complex is responsible for synaptic pruning in a process unrelated to fighting pathogens. My theory says, Africans are more likely to experience higher synaptic pruning which comes with the risk of schizophrenia.
The vast vast majority of racial differences are located in the immune system, and as I have just explained the immune system can have effects on a human organism outside of fighting pathogens. It is crucial for people to understand the immunological differences present within races are diverse, complex, and are evolutionary trade offs.
