It probably depends on location and if there's tension between races at that location.
Here in Germany the fact that he's Turkish but a prettyboy, friendly but still hot looking would halo him more than being an Italian.
That's because he surpasses expectations here, as most foreigners here have a stigma of being lower class, which makes the person in OP look better compared to others of his ethnicity because he doesn't fit the "low class" stereotype.

He would do better among non-white women but not white women per se. He would still get white women if they are open to non-white men. I live in the Netherlands and they do not see us as low class or anything. They just look at looks.
