Son Heung-min was tied for the top goal scorer in the Premier League 21-22 season, yet his salary is 7.28 million GBP. For comparison, he has roughly the same salary as Jamie Vardy, who only scored 15 goals to Son's 23, and didn't even rank in assists, while Son had 8.

He's also very good on free kicks, yet Harry Kane (who earns more than him, with worse results this season, despite being Tottenham's primary striker) is often prioritized.

From a purely statistical analysis, his salary is too low compared to other CL players. IMO, this is an obvious race pill. If you took his exact stat sheet and gave it to a non-Asian player, clubs would be throwing 7-figure salaries at him for transfer.

He's also part to blame

I wouldnt say racepill because look at how much money Mbappe has etched out of PSG, forcing two titan clubs to battle it out for nearly half a decade plus

Aurelian Tchou today with the move

I dont think Son is that guy to run player power card although he easily could. Clubs are obviously trying to pay the lowest the can for the best. Unless they were afraid of a team buying him out or something from the clubs perspective why increase his salary

Do you get what im trying to say?

Black players hardly suffer from the race pill in sports due to their perceived athleticism, while Asians are at the bottom of the barrel.

Yup which is why Real Madrid's 14th champions league as a madridista felt so good

We stuck it to everyone including the English media, pundits and Mpaypal , Nasser Al-Khelaifi and his goons

I'd agree with this based on their national team's performance.

Happy for Sons golden boot win, always been a huge fan of him since his Leverkussen days

A likeable ambidexterous deadly finisher with a good amount of pace on him and all round a quality player

Underrated for how good he is. Another L for Palah btw, losing the lead on the last day by one point to the Citizens. Sorry Salah d

How did Salah lose the lead if they tied?

Salah had more assists, so he's technically the MVP, but he was playing for a more stacked team. Regardless, his salary is 3 million GBP more than Son's.

Football is highly corrupt. Harry Kane probably gets paid more because he has more exposure than Son.

The players who score a bunch of goals for a major team inevitably gain exposure. Kane only has more exposure due to playing at a high level in England for longer.

This isn't what I meant by exposure. Harry Kane is more famous than Son Heung-min. Due to this, Harry Kane is able to draw more eyeballs to the games he plays and is why he is paid proportionally to how much money he brings into the sport.

The most recent season was his best by far. Vardy has been a better strker than Son for almost every other season, last season Vardy played 10 games less. Vardy has 3 20+ goals seasons in the EPL, Son only has one, Kane has 5 ffs. He is underrated but you're pushing it way out of proportion

Scoring goals is what draws eyeballs and brings in money, and Son carried Tottenham to fourth place this past season.

Both Vardy and Kane are designated strikers, so they should be scoring more by default. Hype offers are expected after one notable season. Vinicius Jr.'s salary was over 5 million euros at age 16 after one season in Brazil.

Sounds brutal, but there are so many ugly players who have played at top teams and made a lot of money.

Before the World Cup British media is all about how England will win this year.

After they lose, they come up with all sorts of excuses as to why they lost that particular game, and how if it were any other day, they would have won.

It’s because the jew owner levy is tight af

muh racial discrimination

Jfl low IQ thread bhai.

Son is underpaid relative to his recent performance because

A) he signed that deal when he wasn't quite as good as turned out this year, whereas Kane signed his deal when he was at his peak, and also Kane is England superstar.

B) he went for longer guaranteed money, rather than risk a shorter deal with higher salary amd potentially get shitter money as a 30+ greycell. He is going to be making £8m with bonuses every year even as a 35yr old. I doubt even Salah will get 8m (in today's money) aged 35. He will get a £15m 2 or possibly 3yr deal somewhere, but his next one, if u discount football inflation, will be much lower, and Salah is same age as Son, and without doubt a better player.

C) a large part of, though not huge, of how good he has turned out, is about how Tottenham, and in particular Harry Kane, have changed style.

D) he plays for Tottenham and Daniel levy is shrewd with money, and never pays big wages, you can see that with Harry Kane, even he got forced to take a slightly low ball, albeit very long, contract.

I do think the points made about not getting in the players team of the season is harsh, I would have had him in my top 3, but it's very thin margins, PL has abundance of attacking players, and Son suffers from being in Spurs, not a top 2 team (this year the top 2 are miles ahead).

Also players prob know their shit, and a large part of how good Son is is down to how they're set up, and how telepathic him and Kane are, so people will consider that too.

I think they might have the best partnership stats in PL history one day, in terms of joint contributions, prob better than lampard x Drogba or other dudes like Bergkamp x Henry or Cole x Yorke (not sure if these are the top guys, just ones I remember lol)

But blacks suffer the opporsite for job and business prospects so in other words each race has their strengths and weaknesses or their roles

We won many cups this year keep crying for us because you beat us once lmfao nobody even cared over here we still laughed lmfao we brought so much home we partied Liverpool brought 2 cups already, City brought home one why would British people cry

^^^^ crying about English media hyping ENGLISH TEAMS :feelstastyman:… funny how whenever any other nation does this it’s good but us English can’t be happy and support our own above you filthy shitnations?

Long-term contracts in most sports (including soccer) are a joke, due to high volatility. His contract right now is not reflective of his performance relative to other players.

Affirmative action and diversity hiring affect the workplace much more than (competitive) sports.

Long term contracts are stupid and make no sense for either the player or the club, hence they are so rare.

Tbf Son and Kane signing 6yr deals wouldn't happen elsewhere, it's prob cos spurs know they not as attractive as big clubs, and like Kane says there was a gentleman's agreement to let him go jfl.

They make a bit more sense in American sports because you need to plan multiple cycles due to draft and balancing quality concept, but at the same time a long term contract never means anything in USA cos of how they are structured lol.

No way does Mahines stay at KC for 10 years and make 500m jfl

Doesn’t change the fact that an slightly athletic east Asain will be picked to need a quota for a position in sports whilst a black with better skills and athleticism will be ignored. Although Affeim action in workplace is a thing the jobs blacks Arabs and Latinos do is menial whislt Asians rake in huge bucks not really comparable
