People have been hating on blacks since the Jim Crowe era it's just that after civil rights people have to face consequences so they keep it to themselves otherwise blacks would be catching strays all the time. Blacks are hated on for being low IQ and criminal while curries and other ethnics for different reasons. Curries for example get hated for being a nuisance, eating jobs and turning countries into dustbins. One is seen as a joke the other an untermensch etc. The hate towards other ethnics is more vocal but blacks get the more real intense hatred.

but I'd say it's more that our popular culture adopted a lot from African-Americans via hip-hop the way Latino culture adopted things from AAs, the black culture by itself isn't that much popular tbh for example, AA rappers aren't that much popular but mainstream genres here are domestic trap, hip-hop, R&B etc
