He said he won’t remove my wisdom teeth when advancing the mandible with bsso.

I havnt heard this ever.

Sounds pretty safe to me, and it’s always good to have wisdom teeth unless if they are impacted ofc, other than that removing them will only cause problems.

Yes when the mandible is thick enough to allow a BSSO path without wisdom teeth in the way, it's possible and we have done it at giant in some cases. In most cases it is not possible because most BSSO patients mandibles are too underdeveloped.

In your protocol would the MARPE remain in the mouth during BIMAX? Lefort 1 osteotomy is above where the MARPE screws, TADS are right?
