I’ve been coping with fillers for the last year. I had them injected by a doc with a pretty good rep for fillers in the forum.

I can tell by touch and looking at pictures that the filler is not as sharp as it used to be. But it has given me a really good jaw from the side and the front. Unfortunately you can still tell the asymmetry from the angle of the lips and it can look a bit weird so I’ll be doing bimax.

But fillers have improved my quality of life so much and even if you had to touch it up once in a while it’s very worth it.

Surgeons like Raffaini are made for complex surgeries, a random guy on org would just end up getting the same result as if he got it with a known surgeon.

My personal rule of thumb is that you shouldn't let someone plan your surgery if they haven't examined you properly in person. Soft tissue is so important.

Well to be fair long term filler is kinda expensive cause you gotta get dissolver every couple of years on top of the cost of the filler itself , but yeah it deff mogs implants and many would ascend with it

This is a classic case of the soft tissue pill strikes again. Poor guy thought he didn’t get a sharp jawline and cheekbones cos the implant wasn’t big enough. Implants just don’t integrate with the soft tissue well if they aren’t done perfectly. Just another win for fillers tbh.

Aside from that, I'd probably get some kind of 3D photogrammetry done of your face (like £70) every year to objectively analyse changes in volume.

Every 1-3 years I'd also have an ultrasound-guided dissolving only for filler that has "migrated", and 2 weeks post-dissolving get a top up as there will have been volume loss from where that filler originally was.

So yeah, to do it properly it might come down to like 500 bucks every 1-3 years, but it's definitely higher ROI than most implants IMO.
