problem with long ramus is, that there isn't much variation in the overall mandible size among people (assuming they are in a similar skull/ overall bone mass range) , So a long ramus often means in a full profile, the mandible won't look as projected since most of the jaw would be in the ramus. Meanwhile a kid/ a female with zero ramus will look like they have insane forward growth. @Birdcell, think I made this observation before on lookism

look at my post above, its because of what I mentioned you feel that way, I have this issue too
