It really is. If you're not a very social person like I am (I have family but no friends) then it kind of fills that social need as well. Non committal, and you don't feel pressured to talk about boring shit. I pick which threads/content to reply to for example.


I agree with that. I think one of the hardest struggles I had was being an ugly teen. I don't mean mildly ugly, I mean actually just undesirable. Finding there was a place that didn't gaslit me into thinking I was crazy for thinking my looks played a part in my social interactions felt nice. And I'm 23. I don't mind. I'm pretty transparent about my age.

Being ugly denies you a lot of things including basic mercy. What sucks the most is that behind this cool and silly avi there isn’t a blonde girl there is an ugly teen who cannot take his eyes from the ground. What about you though? Do you look better now compared to when you were a teen?

Yeah ig ive noticed myself becoming more isolated irl too, and the way that i interact with others has definitely been impacted by my usage of this forum

Same. I was always weird but now I’m even weirder. I’ve had a teacher dm me asking me if everything is ok at home. Thats how bad it has gotten

Yeah people don’t really care about my problems since Im ugly. They just see me as a weird retard. If I were htn+ they would low-key feel sorry for me

I've spent a lot of money on looksmaxxing, and I'm still ugly but not where I was. I've spent a few grand and I plan to spend more. I don't really talk about it but I need to make a post eventually. I need to lose weight right now though. I signed up for the Reta trials and got approved but eventually couldn't continue due to an error on their end and they closed it on me.

Unlike a lot of the people on here, puberty did not change my looks dramatically enough, and I actually had to put effort into my looks. Most people's "before" is being a dorky kid and then their "after" is being a grown man. I actually started looksmaxxing as an adult, where a lot of my "starting" ground was firmly placed. Which sucks. With that being said, softmaxxing does a LOT more than people think it does. I want to post before and after pictures in the future, but that's not a right now thing.

Idk abt that bru, i mean youve seen me (or at least half of me) and i wouldnt say anybody is rly feeling ‘sry for me’ either, in fact i think they look at me a similar way that ur describing.
There rly is more to it than looks imo, but honestly that makes it even more brutal, cuz at least looks are smth u can change relatively easily. Ur personality cant be developed so easily, if at all

I plan to get jaw surgery maybe. Ideally an eyelid surgery too to even them out.
