One more thing to me taste matters. I am foodie. I love food. I am not someone who can survive eating boiled food everyday so here's my ranking . Agree disagree any better suggestions or food I should try let me know.

S Tier

Chicken Gizzards

1000227773

The goat imo. They're dirt cheap, dense in iron, and almost pure muscle meat. The dense, chewy texture forces you to actually slow down and chew your food which tricks your satiety. Always pairs amazingly well with Indian cooking style and spices.

Egg Whites+1 Whole egg

1000227774

Learnt this method from Tiktok. Pure egg whites on their own taste liks foam but adding just one single whole egg. Improves the taste massively. Try it you'll love it

Zero-Sugar Soda

1000227780

Ultimate appetite-suppressant cheat code. Cold carbonation expands in your stomach to blunt hunger and the sweet taste kills cravings. I love this stuff. anyone who says they are bad I don't give a shit. I have a sweet tooh and always have cans in my fridge. my favourite are monster ultra flavours and Pepsi black.

Whey Isolate

1000227781

Whey Isolate is worth the high price tag atleast for me. I can digest whey concentrate just fine but isolate is much better and I get 0 bloating on isolate and is very light on my body. My favourite is Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard. Extreme milk chocolate and most of the Myprotein flavours.

A tier

Shrimps/Prawns

1000227782

~100 kcal and 23g protein per 100g and Cooks in under 4 minutes. overall amazing macros and best tasting sea food imo. only in A tier because they are kinda expensive

Chicken Breast

1000227783

Classic body building food. Can get quite dry and rubbery if not cooked properly but south asian cooking methods like marination in curd/yogurt and spices works well for this. That or air-fried and you have a delicious high protein curry in 15 minutes

Freshwater / River Fish

1000227784

I am a mallu so this is a staple in my home town. We eat fish almost every day. They are dirt cheap like half the price of prawns, incredibly lean, and digest very easily. they also don't have the arsenic and heavy metals problem of sea food

Skimmed / Non-Fat Milk

1000227786

Another A tier drink. I can have my favorite coffee guilt free and also use it to dissolve my whey protein in it and use it in oatmeal. Even better if it's that ultra filtered kind that fairlife sells

Powdered Peanut Butter

1000227787

Didn't even know such a thing existed until last year but it seems to be an American staple. Real peanut butter is calorie dense but PB2 presses out 85% of the oil, leaving a powder that reconstitutes with water into peanut butter flavor for a third of the calories. Tastes very decent

Watermelon & Frozen Berries

1000227788

I like watermelon and frozen berries. Great for volume eating, taste good and satisfy sweet cravings well with anti oxidants. Can also be used in pancakes and substitutes in frozen recipes

B Tier

Commercial Protein shakes

1000227789

If you busy all the time and want something convenient you can consume these. They are low effort, generally taste good, portable and shelf stable only in this tier because some of them are very overpriced. Premier Protein and Amul protein drink is my favourite btw

Ninja Creami

1000227790

My mum bought this last Christmas after watching all the hype on YouTube shorts and it was worth it ngl. Expensive but worth. It can turn anything into ice cream. Whey, frozen fruits, skimmed milk and xanthum gun and you have low calorie ice cream. needs prep but worth the price imo

Canned Tuna in Water

1000227791

Pure lean protein but imo dry without hot sauce or light mayo. Fresh Tuna tastes much better imo but it's a fatty fish so need to be mindful of the calories

Zero-Sugar Maple Syrup

1000227792

Unlike Walden Farms dressings, zero-sugar maple syrup does tastes like the real thing and makes protein pancakes edible. My favourite brands are Smucker's.

Low-Fat Cottage Cheese / Paneer

1000227793

The only low fat dairy that doesn't taste like shit imo. Very neutral taste and is more chewy but overall can be had with some spices and in gravies.

C Tier

Broccoli and Cruciferous Veggies

1000227794

Essential for fiber and gut health on a cut but I don't like their taste.Mobody looks forward to plain steamed trees but they taste alright with some masala and spices. Indian and middle Eastern spices come to the rescue again

Turkey Bacon

1000227795

Marketed as a health food but it tastes like shit imo. It's mostly processed poultry meat with high sodium. It doesn't hit like real meat but easy to cook. Can be seasoned and had on the side for a quick dose of protein and fats so it's alright

Plain Oats

1000227797

Excellent complex carb, but easy to accidentally over measure. I've may times over measured the oats. You need a digital scale to measure it properly. Also buy steel cut oats so there's some texture to chew into

D tier

Soylent / Huel / Complete Meal Replacements

1000227798

This is made for tech workers who forget to eat not for fat loss. I am tech worker also but I care about taste but ngl some of soylent flavours do taste really good but you can't really replace chicken, eggs, prawns with soylent like some people try to do. Thr macros can be good but liquid calories is still liquid calories and easy to overeat

Protein bars

1000227799

I have these in a clutch but they tbh they are just Glorified candy bars. You can eat them for taste but most protein bar macros are trash. If you do want to try some. I like Quest and Chase protein bars. I have never tried David but it's macros also seem to be great but they are expensive

Protein Chips

1000227800

4x the price for 10 crushed, dusty triangles that are hard as a rock and provide 12g of protein and leave you craving real food 5 minutes later. Can have some in moderation for taste

F tier

Fat-Free / Low-Fat Cheese

1000227801

Absolutely garbage. Fat free cheese is a crime against dairy. Tastes like salted plastic latex or whatever. Have to use my entire spice cabinet to make it remotely palatable but still has a revolting texture. Garbage food. I literally wanted to throw up when I had it. Publicly flog the mofoker who invented this shit

Anything from Walden Farms

1000227802

I bought them looking at the zero sugar label. They looked promising reading the labels but Jesus christ they were bad. Is this human food or what? It tastes like chemical battery acid. Ruins fresh greens and leaves and also left a metallic aftertaste for hours. Disgusting food. Im convinced people that buy this brand have lost their sense of taste and smell or something

Plain Unsalted Rice Cakes

1000227803

Literally styrofoam dust. 35 calories of empty starch. Zero satiety and leaves crumbs everywhere. Youโ€™d get more satisfaction chewing on the cardboard box they were shipped in.

Shirataki / Konjac Noodles

1000227804

I tried this once because one of my friends recommended it and I sweat to God the taste was horrible. Legit tasted like eating spoonfuls of rubber bands and no amount of hot sauce hides the synthetic sludge reality. Worst food I've ever had.

Chicken gizzards, do they actually taste good? I don't mind the offals like heart and liver, but gizzards always seemed too rough.

Also, there are other good noodle alternatives. Like ones made from potatoes, but a good list.

I agree; also, other appetite suppressants like nicotine and stimulants do wonders (but they aren't food). But caffeine is number 1 for me then.

They can taste good but you need to give them more time to break down. They are tough and chewy and you need to use a good amount of spices. Otherwise they are great. A bit of an acquired taste but I like them

I'll probably give them a try. Not much of a risk, as they sell for pennies compared to most meat products.

I tried this once because one of my friends recommended it and by God the taste was horrible. Legit tasted like eating spoonfuls of rubber bands and no amount of hot sauce hides the synthetic sludge reality. Worst food I've ever had.

One more thing to me taste matters. I am foodie. I love food. I am not someone who can survive eating boiled food everyday so here's my ranking . Agree disagree any better suggestions or food I should try let me know.

S Tier

Chicken Gizzards

View attachment 5462831

The goat imo. They're dirt cheap, dense in iron, and almost pure muscle meat. The dense, chewy texture forces you to actually slow down and chew your food which tricks your satiety. Always pairs amazingly well with Indian cooking style and spices.

Egg Whites+1 Whole egg

View attachment 5462834

Learnt this method from Tiktok. Pure egg whites on their own taste liks foam but adding just one single whole egg. Improves the taste massively. Try it you'll love it

Zero-Sugar Soda

View attachment 5462836

Ultimate appetite-suppressant cheat code. Cold carbonation expands in your stomach to blunt hunger and the sweet taste kills cravings. I love this stuff. anyone who says they are bad I don't give a shit. I have a sweet tooh and always have cans in my fridge. my favourite are monster ultra flavours and Pepsi black.

Whey Isolate

View attachment 5462838

Whey Isolate is worth the high price tag atleast for me. I can digest whey concentrate just fine but isolate is much better and I get 0 bloating on isolate and is very light on my body. My favourite is Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard. Extreme milk chocolate and most of the Myprotein flavours.

A tier

Shrimps/Prawns

View attachment 5462840

~100 kcal and 23g protein per 100g and Cooks in under 4 minutes. overall amazing macros and best tasting sea food imo. only in A tier because they are kinda expensive

Chicken Breast

View attachment 5462843

Classic body building food. Can get quite dry and rubbery if not cooked properly but south asian cooking methods like marination in curd/yogurt and spices works well for this. That or air-fried and you have a delicious high protein curry in 15 minutes

Freshwater / River Fish

View attachment 5462847

I am a mallu so this is a staple in my home town. We eat fish almost every day. They are dirt cheap like half the price of prawns, incredibly lean, and digest very easily. they also don't have the arsenic and heavy metals problem of sea food

Skimmed / Non-Fat Milk

View attachment 5462852

Another A tier drink. I can have my favorite coffee guilt free and also use it to dissolve my whey protein in it and use it in oatmeal. Even better if it's that ultra filtered kind that fairlife sells

Powdered Peanut Butter

View attachment 5462855

Didn't even know such a thing existed until last year but it seems to be an American staple. Real peanut butter is calorie dense but PB2 presses out 85% of the oil, leaving a powder that reconstitutes with water into peanut butter flavor for a third of the calories. Tastes very decent

Watermelon & Frozen Berries

View attachment 5462858

I like watermelon and frozen berries. Great for volume eating, taste good and satisfy sweet cravings well with anti oxidants. Can also be used in pancakes and substitutes in frozen recipes

B Tier

Commercial Protein shakes

View attachment 5462860

If you busy all the time and want something convenient you can consume these. They are low effort, generally taste good, portable and shelf stable only in this tier because some of them are very overpriced. Premier Protein and Amul protein drink is my favourite btw

Ninja Creami

View attachment 5462864

My mum bought this last Christmas after watching all the hype on YouTube shorts and it was worth it ngl. Expensive but worth. It can turn anything into ice cream. Whey, frozen fruits, skimmed milk and xanthum gun and you have low calorie ice cream. needs prep but worth the price imo

Canned Tuna in Water

View attachment 5462865

Pure lean protein but imo dry without hot sauce or light mayo. Fresh Tuna tastes much better imo but it's a fatty fish so need to be mindful of the calories

Zero-Sugar Maple Syrup

View attachment 5462867

Unlike Walden Farms dressings, zero-sugar maple syrup does tastes like the real thing and makes protein pancakes edible. My favourite brands are Smucker's.

Low-Fat Cottage Cheese / Paneer

View attachment 5462869

The only low fat dairy that doesn't taste like shit imo. Very neutral taste and is more chewy but overall can be had with some spices and in gravies.

C Tier

Broccoli and Cruciferous Veggies

View attachment 5462873

Essential for fiber and gut health on a cut but I don't like their taste.Mobody looks forward to plain steamed trees but they taste alright with some masala and spices. Indian and middle Eastern come to the rescue again

Turkey Bacon

View attachment 5462875

Marketed as a health food but it tastes like shit imo. It's mostly processed poultry meat with high sodium. Low sodium but doesn't hit like real meat.

Plain Oats

View attachment 5462880

Excellent complex carb, but easy to accidentally over measure. I've may times over measured the oats. You need a digital scale to measure it properly. Also buy steel cut oats so there's some texture to chew into

D tier

Soylent / Huel / Complete Meal Replacements

View attachment 5462883

This is made for tech workers who forget to eat not for fat loss. I am tech worker also but I care about taste but ngl some of soylent flavours do taste really good but you can't really replace chicken, eggs, prawns with soylent like some people try to do. Thr macros can be good but liquid calories is still liquid calories and easy to overeat

Protein bars

View attachment 5462885

I have these in a clutch but they are Glorified candy bars. You can eat them for taste but most protein bar macros are trash. If you do want to try some. I like Quest and Chase protein bars. I have never tried David but it's macros also seem to be great but they are expensive

Protein Chips

View attachment 5462888

4x the price for 10 crushed, dusty triangles that are hard as a rock and provide 12g of protein and leave you craving real food 5 minutes later. Can have some in moderation for taste

F tier

Fat-Free / Low-Fat Cheese

View attachment 5462890

Absolutely garbage. Fat free cheese is a crime against dairy. Tastes like salted plastic latex or whatever. Have to use my entire spice cabinet to make it remotely palatable but still has a revolting texture. Garbage food. I literally wanted to throw up when I had it

Anything from Walden Farms

View attachment 5462892

I bought them looking at the zero sugar label and they looked promising reading the labels but Jesus christ they were bad. Is this human food or what? It tastes like chemical battery acid. Ruins fresh greens and leaves and also left a metallic aftertaste for hours. Disgusting food. Im convinced people that buy this brand have lost their sense of taste and smell or something

Plain Unsalted Rice Cakes

View attachment 5462895

Literallt styrofoam dust. 35 calories of empty starch. Zero satiety and leaves crumbs everywhere. Youโ€™d get more satisfaction chewing on the cardboard box they were shipped in.

W thread.

Sadly at least 70% of those aren't even available where I live (SpawnPointPill) and whey protein costs like $80 per 1kg here.
Crazy prices cuz there's no local whey manufacturer, it has to be imported + fitness craze.

Careful with zero sugar sodas because many of them contain caffeine and caffeine lasts in body for 12 hours. I try to not drink caffeine after like 11am because of that. Sleep is king.

Also look good. okay for snacks but I don't like preserved meats too much. Lean beef can also be in A tier. But again needs proper prep and spices

Indian and middle Eastern spices come to the rescue again

Turkey Bacon

I literally wanted to throw up when I had it. Publicly flog the mofoker who invented this shit

Anything from Walden Farms

Shirataki / Konjac Noodles

View attachment 5462900

I tried this once because one of my friends recommended it and by God the taste was horrible. Legit tasted like eating spoonfuls of rubber bands and no amount of hot sauce hides the synthetic sludge reality. Worst food I've ever had.
egg whites are super good
