rant about unfairness

I've been struggling to make friends in college, and I've been especially struggling to get a girlfriend. I don't understand why. I try so hard to be nice to girls on dating apps and my female friends but they either ghost me or have an issue with ANYTHING I do. I'm nice to them, but then they ghost me? I try to have an engaging conversation with them, and it goes nowhere and they're just boring as fuck? I don't get what I'm doing wrong. Is it cause I'm ugly as fuck? Cus I'm trying so hard and nothing is working. If anyone has any advice lmk ig but I just wanted to rant
